Void's Edge

Sector ID: 9402 | OL: 78-90 | PvP: No (except during Vrael events)

Arrival from: Thornveil Deep (Keth path)

The end of the Keth frontier. Void's Edge is where Keth territorial expansion stopped - not because they were stopped, but because there was nothing further to claim. The sector has no habitable bodies, no mineral wealth worth extracting, no strategic chokepoints. It has a gate connection to the Keth path and nothing beyond it except the void.

The Keth keep a military station here anyway. They have kept one here for eighty years, rotating garrison duty, because Keth military doctrine holds that a border with nothing beyond it is still a border. The pilots who pull long rotations at Void's Edge are known for two things: exceptional combat readiness and a particular kind of quiet that comes from spending months staring at a lot of nothing.

The nothing has been less nothing lately.

Key features: Keth military endgame station, deep frontier combat content, the Long Watch nav array (Explore - built to monitor deep void, currently receiving data that doesn't match anything in the catalogs), gate to Thornveil Deep.

Primary XP: Combat (highest-level Keth military contracts), Explore (the Long Watch array, endgame nav survey missions).

Mobs: Deep frontier apex fauna (OL 78-88), elite Keth military challenge content (OL 80-90, training simulations that have become less simulated).

Vrael events: Void's Edge Vrael events are physical incursions - ships, not probes. Small formations, three to five vessels. They appear at the sector edge, hold position, and withdraw after a fixed window. The Keth military has logged seventeen such events in the past six months. The reports are classified. The pilots who've seen them talk anyway. The descriptions are consistent: the ships don't look like anything that could have been built by the three races. They don't look like anything that should exist.
