Cinderhold is a mining and refining hub - the asteroids here have an unusually high concentration of the heavy metals that power gate terminal maintenance. Bastion Arms and Stratum Corp both have extraction operations here, and both are convinced the other is stealing claim markers.

The corporate rivalry is genuine and occasionally violent. Pilots who want to work Varath faction can play both sides or pick one. Picking one has consequences.
