The Praxar

"What we are, we earned. What we earn, we keep."

The conservative Keth military houses. The Praxar believe that Keth survival depends on genetic self-determination, martial superiority, and absolute refusal to depend on any external power. They are the inheritors of the independence tradition - their founders fought the thirty-year war against the Varath, and they have never stopped treating it as a war that merely paused.

The Praxar are not wrong about most of their history. The Varath did design in constraints. The Keth did have to fight for everything they have. Their error is applying the same framework to the present, when the most pressing threat is not the Varath at all. A Praxar commander who has seen the Vrael incursion data is one of the few Praxar voices quietly reconsidering their assumptions. There are not many of those voices yet.

Space: Duskhollow and Thornveil Deep. The oldest and most fortified installations in Keth space.

What they want: Keth genetic and political independence. Access to Ancient military technology before the Varath get it. Proof that they can survive without allies - and if possible, proof that they don't need the New Concordat at all.

Starting standing: Keth: +300 | Varath: -200 | Meridian: -50

Missions: Combat operations against Varath interests, genetic sample recovery from Ancient sites, patrol duty in disputed border regions.

Exalted perk: Praxar forging mark - weapons crafted with Praxar materials gain a permanent accuracy bonus; access to Praxar weapons masters.
